Browned
Butter Orange Frosting
1/2 cup whole butter,
no substitutions
3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
1/3 cup fresh orange juice
In a heavy bottomed
saucepan over medium-low heat and stirring constantly, cook the butter until
golden brown. Be careful not to burn the butter. Pour this into a bowl and add powdered sugar and orange
juice. Mix well. Add additional sifted powdered sugar to
adjust the desired consistency.
