hot fudge sauce recipe

This recipe is good for ice cream, topping for warmed brownies, or for warmed beverages. It is chocolate syrup punched up with butter and powdered sugar.

Hot Fudge Sauce

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter

Procedure
  1. Combine chocolate syrup and butter in microwavable dish. Heat on high 1 minute, then whisk to combine. Add in the powdered sugar and heat an additional 2 minutes. Remove and whisk well and pour into jar. Store in refrigerator. To reheat, place in microwave and heat to bubbly, about 30 seconds.
