Granny's
Pie Crust
This makes a very flaky
crust and is courtesy from my husband's grandmother. This recipe
is as written by her, and if followed makes a remarkable crust.
1
c flour |
aprox.
1/4 t salt |
3
heaping Tablespoons of Crisco |
3
T cold water |
"Sift flour
and salt in bowl. Cut in Crisco with pastry blender until fine.
Sprinkle 1 Tablespoon of water at a time and keep cutting in flour
and Crisco until you use 3 Tablespoons of water. Work this together,
but don't work very much or it will be hard."
