Oatmeal
No-Roll Pie Crust
This
is a no-roll pie crust, meaning all the mixing is done directly
in the pie pan. This recipe hasn't been tested, but could have possibilities
with a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg or a few grates of lemon zest.
1/3 c
margarine |
1 1/4
c quick cooking oats |
1/2 c
brown sugar |

Place
margarine in a 9" pie pan in a 350°F oven and melt. Add
in brown sugar and oats. Place back into oven and cook for 10 minutes,
stirring once or twice. Remove from oven and press onto bottom and
sides of pie pan.

Pie
Crust, No-Roll
This
is another untested pie crust that is no-roll. It is made with oil,
so it can be adapted for special diets.
1
1/2 c flour, sifted |
1/2
c oil |
1 t sugar |
2 T milk |
3/4 t
salt |

Sift
the dry ingredients into a 9" pie pan. Whisk oil and milk together
and pour into middle of the dry ingredients and mix together with
a fork until dough forms. Press evenly with fingers to line the
sides and bottom of the pie pan evenly. Bake for 5 minutes at 350°F
to set, then fill with filling that is to be baked.
